Bus Busker - entertainers in the Market.

It will be colorful and fun - entertainers from around the world this weekend master the center of Wroclaw. Launch of XV International Festival of Street Art.

Within three days of Wroclaw occurs 50 artists. For the first time buskersi come from Japan and China. - We will host, among others Qian Lana, bamboo flute virtuoso Chinese - says Romuald Popłonyk, head of the International Festival of Street Art Busker Bus. There will also be artists from Mexico, Denmark, Spain, France, Hungary, Australia, and Polish. We'll see, among others Trixter Circus circus group from Wroclaw.

The motto of this year's festival is a quote from Carl Gustav Jung "In a common game people manifest their freedom."

Wrocław Market Square and Tum Island were included in the final fifteen of the most interesting and most beautiful Polish places in the poll, "Look, Poland! Choose our business card on Street View." The list was created based on thousands of Internet applications. Voting continues until July 26. 

26 July can now vote for the Polish business card - the place to which the team will arrive this summer, and the Street View images will first be published in Google Maps. Winner of the plebiscite will be specially exhibited in the online gallery Polish treasures. Votes can be cast on www.google.pl / StreetView / Polish.

Register at the European Congress on Cultural Events

September 8 Wroclaw start European Congress of Culture. Congress in Wroclaw Centennial Hall will continue on day 4 and is to be one of the highlights of the Polish presidency. Congress of the dozens of meetings, art events and projects involving approximately 300 artists, scientists,philosophers with such prominent names such as Zygmunt Bauman, Umberto     Eco, Vaclav Havel,Viktor Erofeyev, Krystian Lupa, Amos Oz, Krzysztof Penderecki, Tadeusz Rozewicz and Andrzej Wajda.

The European Congress of Culture is more than 100 events: lectures, debates, meetings, workshops, concerts, film screenings and audio, shows, performances, exhibitions.

Over 20 events are completely open to the public, registration is valid for the rest because of the limited number of seats widowniach. Registration begins on July 1 and lasts until 31 July. or the exhaustion of the pool. Locked objects can accommodate from 50 to 6,000 spectators.Sales of accreditation and registration for the concerts take place only on-line.

Era new horizons international film festival is the biggest film festival in Poland and it is regarded as one of the most important film events in Central Europe. Polish Presidency

1 July 2011 Poland took over the presidency of the European Union. Took them from the Hungarians and a half years will provide Denmark. 

Celebrating the Presidency, Poland will host the majority of EU events and meetings organized not only in Brussels and Luxembourg, but also in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Poznan and Krakow.

The presidency also gives political direction of the Union, takes care of its development, integration and security.

July 1 Wroclaw opened House of Europe - a joint regional headquarters of the European Parliament Information Office and the Regional Delegation of the European Commission.

- It's an amazing day. I remember how long we waited for a free country, after the fact to join the European family of states. Now these countries, we - spoke during the opening of the House of Europe, European Parliament President prof. Jerzy Buzek.
